Analyses the control strategy of ice cool storage air conditioning system in an office building in Beijing from the perspective of energy saving and carbon emission. Compares the three operation modes of conventional, regulation of basic load by ice cool storage unit plus peak load by base chiller, regulation of basic load by base chiller plus peak load by ice cool storage unit. The results show that the way of basic load by ice cool storage unit plus peak load by base chiller can minimize the operating costs, but the carbon emissions will exceed the limit requirements; the way of basic load by base chiller plus peak load by ice cool storage unit has significant economic benefits, with the required carbon emission limit.
